Multicom Mobiflex

Multicom Mobiflex is an international GPRS/3G-based mobile data service. The service is easy to integrate with business and production systems using a wide range of terminals or handheld devices such as PDAs, mobile phones, metering equipment or GPS and 3G satellite tracking devices. Mobiflex is particularly well suited for telematics solutions and M2M-communication. Multicom Mobiflex users are reachable through the GPRS network. Multicom Security has enhanced the basic GPRS/3G service to include fixed IP addresses, additional security with VPN tunnelling, and filters to reduce unauthorised traffic to and from the Internet. This makes Multicom Mobiflex more secure and reliable than standard GPRS/3G data services provided by mobile phone operators.

Multicom Mobiflex WL

Multicom Mobiflex WL is a secure monitored wireless communication service which makes it possible to remotely monitor and manage field equipment. The service is easy to install and is particularly well suited for remote locations where fixed wires are an expensive or even impossible alternative. Mobiflex WL is also useful if you want remote control over your clients’ installations for service and maintenance reasons. Mobiflex WL communicates via GPRS/3G or EDGE and is delivered with a connection to your own system via the Internet, a private IP network or a dedicated IP connection.

Multicom Mobitex

Multicom Mobitex is the preferred choice for frequent transmissions of business-critical data from mobile staff or electronic equipment. The Mobitex service provides data over Multicom Security’s own network, with the largest data coverage area in Sweden and unique levels of uptime. Multicom Mobitex is specifically designed for secure data transfer, and is not affected by congestion that may negatively affect data services over public mobile phone networks. 

Multicom Mobitex Combi

If you are a current Multicom Mobitex customer, an investment protection service called Mobitex Combi is available. This Multicom Mobitex service is a network-based application that enables you to extend your current Mobitex solution to include handheld devices in Sweden or GPRS/3G-based communication outside Sweden. The data communication roams between the home network and international GPRS/3G networks. It provides secure Internet access with higher data transmission performance than ordinary Mobitex.
