Securitas Direct has decided to integrate Multicom Security’s IP services for monitored alarm notification in its product portfolio, in order to be able to offer an expanded range of alarm notification services.

With Multicom Security’s IP services, Securitas Direct can offer customers a highly secure solution for alarm notification at a competitive price. Multicom IP also opens up the possibility of including additional notification or transmission services, in addition to alarm signals and images for verification of fire or burglary. The IP-based services operate over the customer’s existing broadband connection, and eliminate the need for a traditional telephone line. Securitas Direct has a growing demand for secure and redundant notification of alarm signals and transmission of data.
