Multicom Security AB and the Swelarm trade organization have concluded a new collaboration agreement. The aim of the agreement is to increase the distribution of information regarding protected alarm connections, while supporting the operations of Swelarm economically.

With the agreement, during 2005, Multicom Security acquires the right to use Swelarm’s logotype in their marketing. In return, Multicom Security has provided a contribution to be used for the marketing and activities of the trade organisation.

During the year, the parties will carry out two campaigns directed towards the member of Swelarm for spreading information about the difference between monitored and non-monitored alarm connections.  As a part of the collaboration agreement, Swelarm members will also receive a discount on their Multicom Security subscription.

- It is very gratifying that Multicom Security has decided to actively support Swelarm in return for using our logotype in their marketing. Multicom Security’s contribution will come in handy in the further development of the trade organisation, says Lars Idh, Chairman of the Installation Section at Swelarm.

- Swelarm stands for good profession knowledge when it comes to security solutions and is consequently an organisation with which we readily want to be associated.  In addition, the agreement provides us with a direct channel to member companies, which is naturally very valuable, says Bo Blåeldh, Deputy Managing Director and Marketing Director at Multicom Security.

Advanced technology gives secure alarms

Multicom Home monitors the alarm transfer the whole way from the alarm installation to the alarm centre. It works by having an alarm transmitter send short control messages at regular intervals, which sense that the alarm transfer is working as it should. If the connection is broken or has been sabotaged, the alarm goes off. Thus, it will be impossible for a burglar to avoid detection by cutting the telephone wire or by jamming the GSM network. The installation of Multicom is simple and can be carried out in conjunction with a new installation or as a complement to an existing alarm. Most alarm centres are connected to Multicom Security, which has more then 20 years of experience of the monitored transfer of alarms.  Examples of customers are banks, the Swedish Armed Forces, the Police and the Emergency Service.
