At the Lastbil 2004 Trade Fair, Multicom Security displays a number of solutions for professional users of mobile data services. Among other things, a product combining the Mobitex Network’s superior surface coverage for vehicle-mounted installations with high transfer capacity in manually portable equipment for GSM/GPRS-based Mobiflex Data is presented.
The Mobitex Network, driven by Multicom, is the mobile radio network that has the greatest geographic coverage in Sweden. Mobiflex Data is Multicom’s mobile data services for secure communication based on GPRS-technology. Now manual portable equipment with GPRS technology can be used in Mobitex applications without major system changes. Ideal for companies with a need for large surface coverage in the countryside and manually portable equipment in cities and towns.
Mobiflex Data provides access to two-way mobile data communication that is fully integrated with the production and business systems critical for customers. In addition to the base services, Mobiflex Data offers permanent IP addresses, safety filters and VPN solutions that are unique for customers.
Mobile objects get completely secure alarms
Multicom M10G, the completely new alarm product, which is intended for mobile objects, was also demonstrated at the trade fair. This is a completely secure wireless alarm that cannot be jammed. M10G has monitored alarm transfer all the way from the alarm installation to the alarm centre. If the alarm transfer is disabled by a technical fault or sabotage, a connecting alarm is activated within ten minutes displaying that there is a fault.
- The entire haulage contractor industry is present at Lastbil 2004. Thus, it is an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate our unique solutions for mobile communication and mobile alarms, says Bo Blåeldh, Deputy Managing Director and Marketing Director.
