For its new parking project with Hectronic/Kienle, Modulsystem has developed a credit card system using Multicom Securitys mobile data service Mobiflex Data to control each processed payment. This diminishes the risk of fraud to a minimum and even ensures that the black list is updated with new credit card numbers on a daily basis.

Furthermore, the service personnel doesn’t need to visit the meters to collect the transactions as they are registered through the Mobiflex Data wireless GPRS connection. A huge number of statistics is gathered each night, as well as potential alarms from meters are reported to the office for service or action, e.g. if the change case needs to be emptied or if there are no tickets left. As soon as an alarm goes off, the application enables the sending of SMS to field technicians who immediately can respond to the problem.
