Using Multicom M10G, even construction machines can be equipped with completely secure wireless alarms that cannot be jammed M10G is a new product for mobile alarms and is based on Multicom M10 that has monitored alarm transfer the whole way from the alarm installation to the alarm centre. If the alarm transfer is disabled by a technical fault or sabotage, a connecting alarm is activated within ten minutes displaying that there is a fault.
Multicom M10G has been developed to respond to the requirements of owners of construction machines. M10G consists of a complete package containing a GSM alarm transmitter, a magnetic contact, a vibration detector, a backup battery and GPS for position finding. All components have finished wiring to facilitate installation. M10G uses GPRS technology and the GSM networks for communication with the alarm centre.
Multicom M10G can be equipped with functions for portable accident alarms, image transfer and listening in. The portable accident alarm is especially valuable for anybody who often works alone. In the event of an accident, the person affected can immediately transmit an alarm with position so that help can arrive as quickly as possible.
M10G can also transmit images and audio from the construction machine. This implies that an alarm situation can be verified with an image and audio and that at best the perpetrator can be identified immediately.
- Theft of construction machines is a growing problem in both the construction industry and forestry management. With M10G, owners can protect their machines in an effective manner and protect them both from theft and damage, says Bo Blåeldh, Deputy Managing Director and Marketing Director of Multicom Security.
