Anders Leideman has been appointed new President and CEO of Multicom Security Group, the leading provider of monitored alarm and mobile data services in Scandinavia. Prior to joining Multicom Security, Anders was the President and CEO of Trio AB, a system provider of enterprise voice solutions and a subsidiary of Teligent.

Anders Leideman assumed the position with Multicom Security on September 24, 2007, and is responsible for the business both in Sweden and Norway.

“I look forward to continuing the development of Multicom Security. We are currently entering an exciting phase where physical safety is becoming increasingly integrated with IT security, mainly due to the development of IP based services”, says Anders Leideman.

As the CEO of Trio, Anders was particularly involved in product development with improving integration and alignment of the company’s various communication offerings. He also focused the sales processes and partner collaborations to create a profitable business in a highly competitive market place.

Prior to Trio, Anders was the Senior Vice President of UPC Broadband (UPC) in Amsterdam, a leading triple-play provider of television, Internet access, and telephony services. He has also been Vice President Business Development & Finance within UPC’s subsidiary for mobile and wireless communication.

Overall, Anders has more than 20 years of international experience in the IT and telecoms industry. He is 48 years old and holds an MSc in Engineering from Chalmers.
