Anders Bergfeldt is the new CTO at Multicom Security, a leading company in monitored alarms and mobile data services in Scandinavia. Prior to joining Multicom Security Anders was responsible for security and IP solutions at TDC.

Anders has more than 20 years of experience in the telecom and IP industry. For many years he worked for the Telia Group, where he held various management positions in LAN and IP services for the corporate market.

“Anders brings a broad experience in technology development, operations and monitoring of operator services which makes him a great addition to our company.  Alarm transmission services are moving to IP-based technology, an area in which we are cutting edge,” says Anders Leideman, CEO of Multicom Security.

In the late 1990s, Anders held several international CTO roles as international consultant for Telia Swedtel. In this role he built and managed operations and technology organisations for several telecom operators offering IP services, among these Global Xchange Com and Telia in North America, as well as Saudi Telecom Company and Inet in Saudi Arabia.

Anders is also involved in several non-profit initiatives to give Sweden a more secure internet, such as Internetframsyn, a project aiming to make Sweden a prominent internet nation by 2015. He is also active in the Swedish Internet Governance Forum.

Anders assumes his position as CTO at Multicom Security February 1 and will divide his time between the Stockholm and Gothenburg offices.
